Styling Links
Styling is just as important.
I could go over this and over this, but styling sets the tone for your session just as much as location.
Things to consider:
- What color scheme does my family look best in and how can I best coordinate those? (Example: My family rocks greens, reds, blues, pinks, and flat colors best.)
- Where do I want to use these as prints and wall decor? (Example: My current color scheme in my living room is blues, greens, and beige. For our last family session, we used whites as our neutral, very light tan, navy blue and hunter green so that it coordinated with my color scheme while also not "matching".)
- Who do I want to be my print? (Example: For whatever reason, my daughter is the one that usually wears the print/pattern outfit and then I pull coordinating colors from hers.)
- Where will our session be? (Example: When we were in Colorado, we obviously wore warm clothes to play in our snowy mountain session, but we also were comfortable. For the lake session, we wore comfortable but classy outfits to avoid being hot and miserable. You do not want to overdo it and be stiff or uncomfortable...especially with kiddos involved.)
See below for my quick links to Styling options to help get you started in creating your vision. My Style Guide is also a great tool on the Do's and Don'ts so be sure to check that out once you have booked your session as well as access to my Client Closet! As always, I am here to assist as needed.
